Traveling to Colorado Springs for a tournament, camp, or showcase? The Outrider is a boutique team hotel in Manitou Springs built around one idea: athletes compete better when they recover better. Room blocks for 10–40 guests keep your volleyball, hockey, cheer, soccer, or swim team together — with real recovery waiting after every game.
The same contrast therapy elite athletes swear by — ready for your team between game days.
Loosen up sore muscles in the Finnish sauna and outdoor hot tub with mountain views.
A fire pit and lobby lounge where the whole team — athletes, parents, and coaches — can debrief together.

Manitou Springs sits on the quiet, scenic side of the Colorado Springs metro — close enough for game day, far enough to feel like a mountain getaway.

Drive times are approximate. Tell us where you're competing and we'll confirm the logistics for your weekend.
You drive the miles, pay the entry fees, and cheer through every match. Your weekend should count too. While the athletes compete, parents get a hot tub under the mountains, sauna and cold plunge sessions, walkable restaurants and mineral springs in downtown Manitou, and a Garden of the Gods sunrise three minutes from the room.
Book the team block once, and everyone gets a weekend worth traveling for.

Send us your tournament or camp dates, your venue, and a rough room count. We'll confirm availability and team rates.
We reserve your rooms and set up a booking link or group code, so families book their own rooms without group-billing headaches.
Your team arrives to a mountain basecamp with recovery amenities waiting after every game, meet, or match.
The Outrider is in Manitou Springs, on the west side of the Colorado Springs metro area. Most major venues are an easy drive: about 15 minutes to downtown Colorado Springs and Ed Robson Arena, about 15 minutes to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, about 20 minutes to Broadmoor World Arena, and about 25 minutes to the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Yes. With 39 boutique rooms, The Outrider comfortably hosts traveling teams and their families — typically groups of 10 to 40 guests. Room blocks keep everyone together, and full-property buyouts are available for bigger travel weekends.
We set up a custom booking link or group code for your team. Each family reserves and pays for its own room at the team rate, and we hold the block so rooms don't sell out before your families book. Coaches and managers get one dedicated contact throughout.
That's the point! Recovery is what we're built for — contrast therapy in the sauna and cold plunge, an outdoor hot tub, and a seasonal pool are all on property. Minors should be accompanied by an adult; ask us about team-friendly scheduling for your group.
You're staying at the base of Pikes Peak: Garden of the Gods is a 3-minute drive, the Manitou Incline is a legendary team challenge, and downtown Manitou Springs — arcade, mineral springs, and restaurants — is a short walk from the hotel.
Tournament weekends should feel like a getaway for the whole family. Parents can soak in the hot tub, book sauna and cold plunge sessions, walk to downtown Manitou Springs, or squeeze in a Garden of the Gods sunrise before the first whistle.
Coaches, club directors, team managers, and parent coordinators — tell us about your event and we'll hold the rooms. Blocks start at 10 rooms, and the best tournament weekends book early.
